Synopsis ~

Write-up from an old Amazon.com posting ~

The Lady Thra and her companion Rinard are hunted down in the forest. Alone Thra comes across a building which may offer some refuge from the night. There she meets Grimclaw and Farne, neither are really what they seem. She is bewitched to assist them in a battle with those who hunted her and Rinard earlier. For Farne has been battling the hunters for ages and in the end they all have a new beginning.

Write-up from a fan ~

Lanfort, Lady Thra's manor has been destroyed with all of her people. Fleeing the marauders, she runs into the deep dark mysterious forest. She takes refuge in a strange hut where she meets a telepathic cat. Later she meets s strange man (Farne) who turns out to be were and the owner of her refuge. He leaves and is hunted by the same people that are her enemies. The cat tells her to rescue Farne and she braves the terror of the forest to find him. Why am I doing this? She wonders. ~ PG
